Rock Robotics Signs KRW 3 Billion Investment Agreement with Iksan City for Drone Production Facility
Published:September 17, 2026

On September 17, Rock Robotics signed an investment agreement (MOU) with Iksan City at Iksan City Hall to build a drone production facility in the city's 3rd General Industrial Complex.
Under the agreement, Rock Robotics will invest approximately KRW 3 billion on a 6,610㎡ site to establish production facilities for agricultural and industrial drones as well as core avionics components such as flight controllers (FC) and high-precision RTK GNSS receivers, and plans to hire 12 full-time employees.
The new plant will integrate drone assembly and mass production with the manufacturing and inspection of core avionics components, creating a production system that connects everything from component design, production and verification to finished-product manufacturing.
Founded in December 2024, Rock Robotics currently conducts R&D and prototype production at the Smart Convergence Technology Center in the 4th Industrial Complex in Hamyeol-eup, and will expand its regional drone production base through this investment.
